A few years ago I was in an airport watching CNN, and they had video of the first U.S. crash test of a Chinese-made car.
It wasn't pretty. I still recall seeing the crash-test dummies flying everywhere.
NW: made in Japan, so it's only 29 pounds. Good point on why we don't say "look Ma, it's a Schwinn!" anymore. :^)
Doug: I remember the one where the engine compartment didn't collapse, but the passenger compartment did. Double ouch!
