Now this is encouraging....

Apparently, the White House is actively discouraging banks from repaying TARP money, and has at the very least failed to congratulate smaller banks which have returned it already. If the sources (anonymous, sigh) are accurate, I can hardly disagree with the idea that former ACORN lawyer Barack Blagojevich Obama is trying to conform the nation's banks to his will in the same way that he's done to (already too subservient) General Motors.

And while I cannot blame Mr. Varney's source for being reticent about being named, one can only wonder what might happen if he (or she) were brave enough to go public with the allegations. It might only take a few people doing so to cripple the Obama socialism machine.

Mr. Obama's socialism machine is going to be right on schedule unless he is voted ut of there in 2012. One more term, and we're sunk. And I believe that includes homeschooling.

As for the GM and bank situation, I tend to agree with Charles Krauthammer's latest post: the bank and automaker's current dilemmas are a distraction from Mr. Obama's ultimate agenda and he probably would like to be done with them as soon as possible so he can be about what he's really interested in.

Well, we survived Hoover and Roosevelt, we survived Jim Crow and the Great Society (the latter even worse on minorities than Jim Crow in my opinion), we survived the Civil War....

....I'll admit that I, along with Frederick Douglas, sometimes need to be reminded that despite the fact that the White House can have four Ivy League degrees and no sense of logic or consequences, God still is on His throne in Heaven, and He hears our prayers.

Other than that; yup, we'd be sunk.
