I wish I could say

...."I knew it," but I can't. A new study has come out about the "energy savings" of Daylight Savings Time, and the conclusion is....

...it actually costs energy because it gets people home in the heat of the day, and thus increases air conditioning costs.

So let's skip it this year, and I'll get to church on time this Sunday, and we'll all be happy. OK?

Can't we just keep one time all year? Why is that such a bad idea?

What would the 5,326 bureaucrats in charge of "spring forward, fall back" do if we didn't have DST? Do you want to put them out on the streets, their children in an orphanage, their spouses in debtor's prison..... ;^)
