The Seattle Police Department, with 1800 staffers, has just announced that they will no longer be devoting 12 investigators to adult sexual assaults. The relevant question; how many officers are on traffic duty? How much more important is it to them to issue speeding tickets than to put rapists in jail?
Just askin'.

Always check actions, not words.

I'm feeling especially cynical this week but... how long until half the country throws up their hands and says, "y'all are incompetent, we're doing our own stuff".
Well, the country may make that call Hearth, and it's a good one. However, everyone better wake up because they are trying to ram some seriously strict gun measures through the Congress right now.
I live in a state where we declared bees to be fish to get them protections, so I may be eating mushrooms and playing croquet with a flamingo in a few months.
You know... there are entirely different rules for old guns... food for thought?
I think they're going to try to ban some guns, but Heller and Macdonald make that difficult because one of the tests is that the gun is in wide use, and the AR is the most popular platform in the country.
So they'd need to seriously court pack to win that one.
