Specifically, pants. Not only does it look dumb to wear hiphugger/lowrider pants, it also forces you to carry a smaller pistol for self-defense. You can conceal a much larger weapon if your pants fit properly (at the top of the hip or at the waist) and have the proper amount of "ease." (they're not skin tight)
For reference, the Biblical story of Ehud. I bet 'ol Eglon wished that the bearer of Israel's tribute had been wearing hiphugger jeans instead of properly fitting robes.
Fashion. It can be a life or death decision.

Do you think that this is a reason that ultra-baggy clothing is a trend amongst inner city youth? Weapon capacity?
It might be a great way to hide weapons, but what I'm told is that the baggy/lowrider look so popular in the inner city is actually a "prison" look. Lowrider is "no belt", and they take away belts in prisons to prevent it being used for hangings/weapon. Loose pants are the prison "one size fits all" mantra.
Why it's cool to look like a criminal? You got me on that one.
Stopping by from the Baylys and enjoyed this - particularly having recently obtained a concealed-carry permit. Good old south-paw Ehud...
Welcome here, & don't be a stranger!
That's funny. That Eglon wished that Israel's tribute wasn't wearing robes, but hip huggers - ha!
