we are mocked. at least my kids see to it, anyway.
I imagine it has something to do with the fact that no one really wants to see men in tight-fitting jeans.
I'm routinely jealous of double-standards between genders for attire - women can get by with more comfortable shoes in the summer, cooler (temperature-wise) tops, etc. But I'm very glad men's styles don't vary as much.
summer is my favorite time of year for noticing women.
Tobin, that's the first time I've ever heard it said that women can have more comfortable shoes! OK, they can wear sandals when men need to wear a closed toe shoe, but.....there are times when men can wear Birkenstocks, no?
Suffice it to say that whenever I view womens' clothing, I am glad that I can wear 18 year old boots, 12 year old pants, and a 25 year old sweater to church, and nobody says boo about it.
