Amen, Bubba. General Jackson was a fine Southern Gentleman, and demonstrates for us all how the love of mankind can truly transcend race. What passes today for racial reconciliation is a farce compared to the real sacrifices men like Thomas Jackson, Robert E. Lee and others "Southerns" accomplished some time ago. Good post.
