Missing the point of feminine modesty....
....is the Iranian women's national rugby team, which is playing rugby in traditional headscarves and long flowing garments. Yes, they're covered up. They are not particularly what I would call an "eye gate" problem. However, in doing this, they are entirely missing the point that feminine modesty is supposed to be, you know, "feminine." It's what happens when one follows a list of laws without having them in the context of Christ.

And, as is so often the case, the attempts to follow counterfeits of the law without its spirit results in rampant violations of yet other aspects of the law. Anyone who actually cared about the well-being of these women would not encourage them to play a highly physical game dressed in trip-hazard and heat-exhaustion-hazard gear, even apart from the issues of femininity and modesty. Islam provides us with glaring examples of that kind of thing (letting girls die lest they be seen by firefighters in less than full regalia) so it's easy for us to criticize, but I daresay if you look closely enough, any Pharisaical practice (including those we ourselves might be susceptible to) will reveal that kind of thing.
