Speaking of Barnum's Law,

...check out this little bit by Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, who has evidently forgotten exactly which political party actually DID support slavery in the 19th Century. Hint; Harry, it wasn't the Republicans.

Just what does the Democratic Party have to do with ending slavery? :^)

We're talking Barnum awards, my friend. Though I would suggest that if you've got to press your request for a medical procedure through several layers of bureaucracy, then maybe, just maybe, your status isn't as different from that of a slave as you'd like.
