The very definition of chutzpah
...is a guy who's sucked on cancer sticks for three decades presuming to tell us about how we can be healthy. Good grief.
Actually, the better translation, at least in today's usage, is probably "unmitigated gall," which fits President Blago perfectly.
Gino's got a good point about the difficulty of quitting smoking, but the point really remains; he can't do anything to help himself, but he can help everybody else?
One needn't "throw stones" at a guy who was (is?) long-term addicted to cigs in order to say that he's not really qualified as a spokesman for healthy lifestyle choices. You can have all the compassion in the world and still say he's just not one with credibility on the topic and not one we care to have tell us how to live.

if you never been an addicted to nicotine, do not throw stones.
my issue with the topic is this: the presidency shouldnt be dealing with this topic.
whether its jack lalanne as president, or david crosby.
chutzpah was a poor choice of a word for OBama - a Yiddish word for courage, when he has no courage, and is in no way like a courageous Jew.

Please.
OK, you're probably right, but I always thought of it as a compliment, and thought it rather ironic when Obama seems to be no friend of the Jew!
